Hello Paride,

I have huge lag when I select a camera and go to the modifier tab, sometimes it takes 10 seconds to open the camera dialog, I don't know if that's an Octane issue but it's getting worse every release.

I also have two requests :

- would it be possible to get denoised passes with the Open AI denoiser. I find it way better than the Octane denoiser but I denoised passes (reflection indirect for exempke) render black.

- Using Compare with Region in the octane render viewport : when i try to move the part of the slider inside the region it moves the region as well... could you lock it please ?

Hi remKa,
I was able to reproduce the issue with the compare tool. I’ve attached the denoise workflow. Still investigating the camera.

Hello Paride,

Thank you for the compare issue.

I find it way too complicated to use AOV to et a denoised reflection pass, couldn't we have the same possibility than with the Octane denoiser ?

Hi remKa.
I don’t think that’s doable, Open Image Denoise is an external Intel framework. It’s solid and fast, but it has some limitations also on single layers compared to Octane’s spectral denoiser. Anyway, the AOV system might seem a bit tricky at first, but it can become fast and really useful for quickly creating custom layer groups.
