With the release of OctaneRender 2026.1, we are excited to introduce a new build of Octane with support for internationalization. This build enables users to use Octane in simplified Chinese as their main language with a high degree of accuracy.

To receive updates about new Chinese builds of Octane, please sign up to the OctaneRender Chinese Mailing List.

The OctaneRender 2026.1 with support for internationalization needs to be downloaded separately (here) and works with the same license.

In addition to internationalization and simplified Chinese builds of Octane, users can purchase OctaneStudio+ Monthly or Annual licenses using Alipay. Just go to the OTOY Shop page, and click on the Alipay payment method.

Sign up to this mailing list to receive up-to-date information on Chinese-native builds of OctaneRender Standalone and 3rd-party plugins, and offers specific to the Chinese language.

English is too difficult for many people to understand, and the learning cost is even higher. Chinese translation is a huge help for us! Unfortunately, the software hasn't been fully localized yet. In order to use the Octane renderer smoothly, I have to rely on an older version that was unofficially localized by Chinese experts. As a result, many new features are unavailable to me – what a pity! I really hope that the materials and nodes can be fully localized as soon as possible. That would be a tremendous help for users in China. At the same time, I believe that with an official Chinese version, more people would learn and use this software. Thank you to the localization team for your hard work! I truly appreciate it. Keep up the great work!!!
