When i use auto key with cameras and lights with target I have this really annoying bug : a lot of ghost keyframes are created , please see attachment file :

I can replicate the issue, I sent my report to devs. I believe I’ve identified the cause of the black keyframes that appear on the timeline when using an Octane Camera with Auto Key enabled in 3ds Max. The issue, in my opinion, is related to the Target Distance parameter of the Octane Camera. In standard 3ds Max cameras, the target is a separate object in the scene, and the distance is not exposed as an animatable parameter. In the Octane Camera, however, Target Distance is a custom parameter of the plugin. This means that Auto Key monitors it like any other parameter. When the camera is moved, Target Distance changes automatically (even if the target itself is not being touched), and Auto Key records this variation by creating a keyframe. Even simply scrubbing the timeline without interacting with anything can cause the value to undergo micro fluctuations due to floating-point recalculations enough for Auto Key to interpret them as changes and generate keyframes on every frame that is touched. Temporary workaround: Use Set Key instead of Auto Key. In the Set Key Filter, leave checked only the necessary options, such as Position, Rotation, and Scale. This way, by pressing K, only transformation keyframes are recorded and Target Distance is ignored. If you prefer to continue using Auto Key, open the Curve Editor (Graph Editors > Track View Curve Editor), expand the camera, locate the Target Distance channel, and set it to “locked.”
