Is it me or dropping texture on shader is not working , nor imports the various maps an the directory.
Naming is fine like normal , height , etc.
I am sure it was working with some 2025 betas.
Thanks in advance

Hi,
Can you be more specific about this, please?
Can you be more specific about this, please?
Dunno if I am wrong and mixed up with cycles were you can do this easy. If I am wrong sorry , but it will be nice to have this !
Here is what I read from AI Answer when I search in google :
As of Octane 2023, you can automatically load and connect texture sets (PBR maps) by utilizing the Node Editor's drag-and-drop feature. If your textures are appropriately named (e.g., Albedo, Roughness, Normal), you can select all map files in Windows Explorer/Finder and drag them onto a material node in the Octane Node Editor.
Octane will automatically create individual ImageTexture nodes for each file, set the correct color space (e.g., non-color for normals), and connect them to the appropriate inputs on a Universal or Standard material.
Key Methods for Auto-Loading/Building Textures
Drag-and-Drop Auto-Detection (Octane 2023+):
Open the Octane Node Editor.
Select your set of textures in your file browser.
Drag and drop them directly onto the material node graph.
Octane detects map types (Albedo, Roughness, Normal) and connects them automatically.
PS. Oh darn , now I remember i had installed https://github.com/AiSatan/node_wrangler_octane/releases
I am sure this will help some others too, its a nice functionality to have!
Thank you Lino
