Maybe I should just restart the computer between installing new drivers and disabling SLI ? :)
Here in germany we have a contest:
German contest for young scientists, do it ;)
It´s somtimes realy wired, use this to get that.
But if the day is a friday and the date ends with a 2, don´t use it.

You can have a DX11 card, but if the game uses DX9, you have DX9.
You want MultiGPU? Then use Octane with cuda3.0...

Well yes I know I was just perplexed since both Octane with Cuda 3.0 and Cuda 3.2 reports both my 580GTX being active. And getting the exact same render speeds. I have SLI disabled etc. But hey it's still faster than previous versions so.. :)
wow is this for real? i might take d risk, with cuda 3.2, but my question is just in case things go wrong with multi gpu, can i reinstall cuda 3.0 back and have things working d way it was b4 ?

We have explained the situation in the release notes, but why are you reluctant to upgrade. Beta 2.42 CUDA 3.0 is not slower than beta 2.3 v5.

Cheers,
Marcus

If you use OctaneVerCuda3.0 it´s irrelevant which version your driver has installed.
Octane uses the cuda dll from the Octane folder and that is 3.0.

Is there a updated version of the benchmark scene that works with the new Octane version? would like to see if I get the same results on that as my own test scene where Cuda 3.0 and 3.2 version give's me the exact same performance.

*Doh* I needed to disable physX also (not just SLI) now it works fine on Cuda 3.0 both GPU's at 80-90% load and blazingly fast =)
