I do not have time to wade thru hundreds of threads nor are searches of any help so far so please answer the following question for me. Thanx.
I run WINDOWS 11 WITH AN RTX NVIDIA CARD AND A VERY POWERFUL CPU AND LOTS OF RAM. I WANT TO TEST AND TRY THE OCTANE RENDERER ON THIS SYSTEM WITH CINEMA 4D. AS I SEE IT THERE IS NO SUCH THING BUT THEN I MAY BE WRONG. CAN YOU PLEASE EXACTLY POINT ME TO THE CORRECT DOWNLOAD OF IT IF IT EXISTS AND IF NOT WHY DOES IT NOT EXIST FOR WINDOWS USERS? I AM INTERESTED IN THE VECTRON STUFF FOR A HUGE PROJECT BUT IF I CANNOT FIND A SATISFACTORY TRIAL FIRST I WILL NOT BE INVESTING IN THIS. SO FOR ALL OUR SAKES PLEASE HELP. ALSO - IT APPEARS THAT THE OTOY PEOPLE ARE VERY CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR SECURITY AND THAT IS FINE BUT TO MAKE IT THIS DIFFICULT SHOWS A SAD LACK OF THE SMART BUSINESS MENTALITY. JUST SAYING PEOPLE AND I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE SO DO NOT START CASTRATING ME FOR WHAT MANY ARE THINKING. I LOOK FORWARD TO A MEASURED AND INTELLIGENT REPLY.

First thing to do is to run OctaneBench to have an idea of the speed of your GPU in OctaneRender.
Please download and run OctaneBench 2025.2, and share a complete screenshot of the result, thanks:

Then you can try the Demo version for c4doctane plugin, but it depends from the C4D build you have installed, so please go to C4D menu Help/About, and share another screenshot, thanks.
For a correct installation of c4doctane plugin, firstly you need to update your Maxon C4D to a recent build, (R21.155, S22.118, R23.110, S24.111, R25.117, R26.107, 2023.2, 2024.4, 2025.0.1, 2026.0), or the plugin will not be correctly loaded.
If your C4D build is ok, you can install the following Demo version:
