Hi,
I'm new to Octane and I'm interested in MaterialX in Octane&Blender
1- Imagine I'm making a MaterialX in Octane and I'm using a noise, will all the Octane noises work in MaterialX or will I have to add Noises tagged as MTX Noise for example?
2-Assuming my material is fully using MTX taggs, and I take my scene to another DCC compatible with Open USD and MaterialX, will the scene be fully compatible to render and the differences should be depending on the render engine right?
Thanks
MaterialX Sufix?

From the Octane 2026.1Standalone post:
"MaterialX is an open standard for representing materials in a portable way across applications and renderers. MaterialX workflows are now supported natively in Octane with native nodes and importing facilities.
MaterialX materials can be imported from already existing native MaterialX files or existing USD scenes and also authored in Octane using over 130 new Octane nodes which implement the main pattern nodes in MaterialX version 1.39.4 and that can be used in combination with any other existing texture nodes."
MaterialX nodes can be used with the other "standard" Octane nodes and shaders.
I´m still not totally happy with the MaterialX import option we currently have in Blender, but it will be improved soon.
MaterialX materials are imported perfectly in Standalone, by the way, so we just need to work on fixing some specific cases.
