Hi;
I was wondering if there was a quick and practical way to visualize procedural and/or file textures applied to an octane material without the hindrance of lighting and shading in Octane for Houdini, ie bypassing the material to solo out the texture?
Thank you;
AJ
How to visualize textures without shading

Yes we added a tool for this recently.
You can find it in the right click octane menu, or in the octane tools toolbar.
There you can assign a shortcut to it (right click, edit, and then under shortcuts)
You can see it here in action: https://youtu.be/vCKGJ4NT4gA?si=2dHzk3rLwtvGDLZ7 (around 22:46)

Btw did you know Octane has a discord? https://discord.gg/F4WENTG
It's a great place to get very fast feedback or support from me and other Octane Houdini users.
I'd highly recommend it!
