Hi guys,

I'm kinda getting lost in the topic of color space and proper integration into live plates. Here are the facts:

Compositing is done in After Effects 2025
Final Color grading is done in Premiere 2025
Cinema 4d 2025.3.3
Lates stable Octane 2025.

Video Footage:

Color Space: Rec. 709
Color Space Override: Off
Input LUT: None

The footage is kinda washed out in Premiere/After Effects but not as heavy.

The problem: I don't get my Octane renders as flat as the video footage. It's always tone mapped and way to contrasty and saturated.

Currently I don't use any external OCIO configs, only the build in Octane and AE.

Can someone guide me through the process of setting AE/PR/Octane up properly? I did already ask in the discord as well because I imagine a real time discussion would be much easier, but maybe someone here can help me out. :)

Thanks in advance!
