I'm experimenting with a simple scene and trying to get the Jittered Color Correction node to work. I've tried *everything*. I know by manually changing the seed value I can get colors to change but for all the copies.

I have attached the scene file.

Help!!

Exasperated,

Greg

BTW, I'm on MacOS 15.7 and a Mac Studio M3 Ultra.

Hey Greg,

your setup should work fine, just enable "Packed Geo Instancing" on grid1 SOP's Octane tab.

Chris.

Just checked too and it definitely works.

Things to check:
1. Your object is a packed
2. Enable "packed instances" in the octane object parms
3. Make sure "Instance IDs from" setting is NOT "packed RGBA values from Cd point attribute" (this will break nodes like the random color or jittered color correction nodes) - the default "point number" will work fine.
