Hello,

I have problems running OctanePlugin with UE4 4.26.2. The error appears as follows: "Failed to load plugin 'OctanePlugin' because module 'OctanePlugin' could not be loaded. There may be an operatingbasket random system error or it may not be set up properly."

Can someone help me? Many thanks.

There was a change with an update for 5.4, it has been fixed with the latest build. You should be able to download it here:

If you share your Octane version and GPU details, sometimes the issue comes down to compatibility. A quick look at the error message could point in the right direction too.

This error usually means the OctanePlugin version isn’t compatible with your Unreal Engine 4.26.2 build or its files are missing or corrupted. Ensure you’ve downloaded the **exact plugin version** for UE4.26 from Otoy, then re-extract it into the `Engine/Plugins` or project `Plugins` folder. If you’re using a custom Unreal build, rebuild the plugin from source to match your engine version. Also, verify that your GPU drivers and Octane license are up to date, then restart UE4 and re-enable the plugin.
