Hello everyone,
I’m using OctaneRender to render animations in Blender, but the render time is quite long.
Could anyone share their experience or best practices for optimizing Kernel and Render Settings in Octane? I want to reduce render time while maintaining good image quality.
Thanks in advance!
Tips for Optimizing Render Settings in Octane for Blender?
You could start by lowering the max samples and adjusting adaptive sampling in the kernel settings — that often cuts time without much quality loss. Also, enabling denoiser and checking your ray epsilon and GI clamp values can help. Do you mainly render with path tracing or direct lighting?briansbergeron wrote: Tue Apr 22, 2025 2:52 am Hello everyone,
