5090 laptop gpu doesnt work with 576.02 Studio driver

Hi,

I'd like to report this issue, persistent on a Zephyrus g16 with an RTX 5090 where the render doesn't start at all, on octane 2025.2, 2024.2 and 2026.1.

Okay so after a bit more tweaking I restarted the laptop in D-GPU only mode and now it seems to work, though only on 2025.2, other versions don't seem to work and Nvidia is clearly seeing some issue regardless as seen in the picture:

You need to write to the Nvidia forum, just clarify that the octane render does not work. This is probably the worst generation of video cards in history, half a year has passed, and the drivers are broken and getting worse and worse. 4090 was perfect
