The constant crash that I've just found, is somehow related to the Octane Lights (not the Universal Lights though), I am rendering to disk and after the first frame is rendered houdini crashes, you can check this hipfile I've made to reproduce the crash:
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/jwa8gk6yaqtqakuruyzy0/octane_lights_crash.hiplc?rlkey=pnf31eam2qpqo6130z33mih2y&dl=0
The workaround I've found so far is to render in "full reload" mode, but if I try to stop the rendering to disk I get the crash as well.
Stopping the rendering to disk and crashing has been a long time problem, but it seems to be better or worse depending on the plugin version or some other factors.

+ Another problem I stumble upon with 2x GPUs is that OIDN still not very stable, it may be that it's got updated recently, but if I have the denoiser on on both cards when rendering my PC would freeze for 15-20 seconds and then Octane would give a denoiser error, only way to have the very stable denoising for the final output is to just limit the denoiser to use one of the GPUs in the settings.
Sorry for the delayed response!
Hmm this file seems to not crash for me. Maybe this is a GPU related thing. Could you try disabling one of the GPUs and see if it persists? Also when it crashes do you get any codes?
Also if you're running into issues with the denoise on 2 GPU systems, you can disable the denoise on one of the GPUs so it only runs on a single GPU and that might help resolve the issue...

The Octane Light crash is related to octane 2026 build, most likely it's plug-in issue, it doesn't happen in 2025.
And regarding the denoiser crashing, I use 2025 for now, I limited OIDN to just 1 card, rendering on both cards, it works fine for me, I'll stick to it for now.
