Houdini: Houdini Indie 20.5.584 - Py3.11
Operating System: Windows 11 Pro 24H2
Processor: MD Ryzen 9 9950X3D 16-Core Processor 4.30 GHz
RAM: 192 GB (192 GB utilizzabile)
Graphic Card: 1) Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 2) Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080Ti (driver vers: 32.0.15.7283)
Octane Version: Octane_2025.2.0.0_Houdini_20.5.584_Studio+_Win64
When I interrupt a batch render in Houdini using Octane the application crashes immediately. This happens consistently, regardless of scene complexity or render length.
Critically, Houdini does not save a recovery file or backup copy of the project when this crash occurs, leading to potential data loss.
Additionally, no error message or crash notification appears on screen, making the issue difficult to track or diagnose from the user side.
Thank you.
Paolo

I'm very sorry I missed you message. For some reason I have not been receiving notifications on here...
When you say batch render, what do you mean? The normal animation render, or are you using some kind of other batch render setup like tops etc?
