Hey guys,
I am having issues with Pflow and the Octane render not following correctly. Its like the pflow sequence that I made is not the same when seen in the live viewer.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi larsgehrt,
Could you share the context or an example of the issue you're facing?

Sure,
I have a pflow system where the debris are fixed on a shape instance. I then have a deflector going from one end to the other of the instance. When the deflector hits the debris, the debris will then move to a target further up, so it will look like they are being sucked up by a vaccum.
All works great in the 3ds max viewport, but in the Octane render viewer the animation of the deflector does not follow like it does in the 3ds max viewport. Its either slower or faster, never the same speed. So my animation does not lign up.
Sometimes the plfow system will not even render.
Hope this explains it ok

Hi larsgehrt,
It's hard to say just from this. Feel free to send me the scene via DM if you'd like.

Hey, here is a sample.
If you open the live viewer while moving the timeline, there will be inconsistency in the PFlow animation.
I also have Phoenix FD simulation added to the scene as well.

Hi larsgehrt,
Could it help? You didn’t include its assets with the file, so I’m not sure if the scene is exactly as intended.

Fixed the issue with creating a mesher object to replicate the pflow system, this will follow the plflow system 1 to 1 in the live viewer and render correctly.
Thanks Paride
