C4D native Node Editor....

will this ever happen? Vray, Arnold, Corona and of course Redshift have supported the native C4D node editor for some time. Is this an engineering issue or a "get off my lawn we only like the old style better.." thing and it will never catch up to the current standard? There are clear advantages to using the native editor like it's obvious tie in to the Asset Library as well as QOL features like creating groups and exposing parameters for them for easier tweaking of complex materials among others. Subsequently, I noticed all the listed render engines also support OpenPBR now. I see Octane 2026.1 alpha announcement referenced MaterialX support but for C4D we're still in 2025.1 beta. I apologize if this has already been discussed or said "hell no" to.
