Octane won't use a light mixer if it doesn't have Octane parms already. Can't add octane parms from the shelf tab, so that means recreating existing lights.
Hey Liam!
I'm not sure I understand the issue. Are you meaning that you opened a scene that was created without Octane, and thus the octane parms were missing, and thus aren't working?
Or how did you create a light that doesn't have the octane parms?
And if I understand correctly the request is to add a way to add octane parms to existing lights etc that don't already have octane parms?

I opened a seen that had previously been made with Karma and Octane wasn't installed when that was made. All the lights that had existed in the scene then don't have the Octane Parms tab. This causes the lights to not work with the light mixer, but still work with Octane. It's very odd.
In short, though, yes, it'd be great to add/remove Parms.
