Yes, you need to have a valid filename and location otherwise it will not save the file.

Thank you Beppe! I did not realize this was possible inside of Octane til now!
Anyone getting jaggies/anti-aliasing issues on the furthest/most fogged objects? (open the pic full size to see) I'm guessing that has to do with samples for info passes, but with 2021 I'm not sure where that is controlled from?

Hi Mylo,
AOV masking was changed in 2023.1.x versions.
Please try with 2023.1.3-R6, or 2024.1.2 versions (latest 2024.1.2-R2 has an issue in Compositor).
Now you need to create a "Mask with layer group" node than assign the Z-depth pass in layer 1 of the mask group node, and set the Source as "Inverse Luminance": ciao,
