Alpha Channel

Hey Paul,

By any chance can you make the Transparent background Checkered like in Photoshop or a different color other than the same gray color that's the same as the viewport.
It gets confusing and frustrating when I can't see the edge of the image. There have been times when I was Rendering out with the alpha Channel but my camera animation was off position for whatever reason but I didn't notice until the render was done. (Than I had to fix and re-render).

I will add this to the long-term TODO list. In the meantime you could just load a checkerboard background image.

It's been 6 years I think given the effort to fix this, verses the ease of the workaround, it's unlikely to be done in the near future - sorry.
