What is Octane Hydra | Omniverse?
The Octane Hydra | Omniverse plugin is based on Pixar’s USD (Universal Scene Description) and Pixar’s Hydra API to empower artist workflows across look development, scene layout, lighting, and final rendering.

-Installation steps-
*****************************
* Download the OctaneHydra Omniverse delegate plugin and install the Omniverse Composer 2023.2.5 ([https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/omniverse/](https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/omniverse/)) using the Launcher app
* Extract the OctaneHydra delegate zipped file in the drive
* Launch the Omniverse Composer and the Extensions from the Windows menu
* Click the hamburger menu on the right and select settings. and add the OctaneOmniverse path "PathTo/exts"
* Go to 3rd party and search Octane to enable AutoLoad
* Close the Composer app and reopen it for the plugin to work

-Known Issues-
- The build sometimes may not work if there is Python preinstalled!
- Omniverse app specifically recommends using Nvidia driver 471.41.
These builds are compatible with both Omniverse Composer also USDView build!
