Hello,

We use Blender for Octane, then do all the finishing touches in Octane Standalone. It can be incredibly frustrating changing lots of settings at one time and it seems like it should be an easy thing to do with LUA, but even with the help of ChatGPT, I can't seem to make any meaningful process creating my own scripts, so I'm reaching out for help.

I did look through the existing scripts and through the forum, but didn't quite find what I was looking for.

I'm hoping for more of a template that is easily adjustable, but i'll give you a few examples of things I wish I could do on today's project.

-Change the Power of any Texture Emission node who's name starts with "wp_Retail" to equal 20

-For the selected nodes, Set the Light Pass ID to 5

-Collapse the inverse of the selected nodes

Any help would be great! Are there any video tutorials about how to use LUA in Octane Standalone?

Hi,
we are already in contact via Octane Support (help at otoy dot com).

Anyway, I'm posting also here the example Lua script I've shared with you for the second question, maybe it could be useful for other users:
