I am currently rendering on two different workstations with access to three render node machines.

One of the nodes connects seemingly just like the others, but doesnt contribute a thing (confirmed in afterburner - GPU 1 has normal monitor/idle usage and the secondary GPU sits at 0% usage). It has the same nvidia driver and network settings as the other nodes and workstations. Basically identical machines with same software versions.

I have tried rebooting it, fully updated windows just in case, fully uninstalled octane rendernode and reinstalled.

It does not make a difference which of the two currently rendering workstations connect to the node, same results of seemingly connecting without rendering anything. It has 1 x 3090 and 1 x 4090.

Not sure what else to troubleshoot/try at this point.

Octane version 2023.1.3
Cinema 4D 2025.0.2
Nvidia drivers - 565.9 (all machines)

Hi,

Please download and run OctaneBench 2020.1 from render-Node machine, and share a complete screenshot of the result, thanks:

To check if Render-Node is rendering, please download and run GPU-Z:
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpuz/

You need to check the GPU-Z Sensors tab while rendering, and in particular, Temperature, GPU Load and Power Consumption TDP.

ciao,
Beppe
