Hi,
I'm trying to achieve a gradient mask shader that is mapped along an object's UV map in Octane. In Redshift, I was able to do it through a node called 'Scalar ramp' and plugging a flat projection UV-map into it. Is there an equivalent setup in Octane?
Here is a video showing what I mean: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QB3yKcH6DUE
Also, is there a way to change the orientation of this gradient? I tried using the Falloff node, but it seems to only snap the orientation to specific directions.
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
try with an Octane Gradient node connected to a Gradient Generator node set to linear, and connected to a Projection node set to XYZ to UVW.
You also need to use the Projection or UV Transform nodes to rotate the gradient as you like.
