Changes:
  • Upgraded to Octane 2024.1 stable

  • Groom: Improved hair specular conversion
  • Textures: Plugin no longer changes texture arrays settings when it fails to load a texture array texture

Hello,

0.80
I have downloaded the 0.80 update but now when I load Octane in UE, I only get a solid grey render viewport, and the Octane Render Target is not shown in the outliner.

0.79
Metahuman face still renders black. Hand s and body seam to work.

Cheers

Can you look for errors in the unreal output log window?
Also what happens when you create a new rendertarget?

This is great! Question: Do you still have to convert UE materials to Octane via a parent node or can you just render UE materials?

THANKS!

It was always possible to just render UE materials out of the box.
