is there a place where you list recommended videocards for use with octance ?

im buying a new computer to use blender , octane etc...

i want octane to run great on it.


any suggestions ?

GTX 560 with 2GB for Octane & a cheap nvidia card for display (preferably a 2xx, which runs OpenGL apps (like Blender) smoother than 4xx)

It would also be very interesting to see the speed
difference between gaming cards and workstation
cards like a quadro 4000.

Is there any Info out there perhabs a scheme
with some NVIDIA cards and the performance.

Just go to wikipedia and compare the GFLOPS rating in the tables, that's a good indicator of relative speed.
