Hello,
I'm experiencing a significant difference between Viewport and Render with the Lens Effect (Chromatic Aberration, Flare).
Tested in 28.14, 28.15, 28.16.1 and 29.10.
Test scene attached. Lino - can you confirm? Or tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance.
Lens Effect bug - can someone test please?

For a perfect match, be sure to enable Always Use Camera Resolution in the Camera Data Options.

Thanks Lino - I saw this but don't understand what it is.
When I check it, everything gets very wide, so how would I get it back to where it should be? And what about if I import a tracked camera?
... surely the post operation should sync with the scene, rather than the other way around.

Lino - can you explain how this works/what it's doing? I can't find anything in documentation.linograndiotoy wrote:For a perfect match, be sure to enable Always Use Camera Resolution in the Camera Data Options.
It seems that when it is checked, it changes how the Focal Length and Sensor Fit work.

It looks like we have an issue to solve with Always Use Camera Resolution when the aspect ratio of the image is a portrait, as opposed to the standard Full HD/Wide Screen resolution.
We'll look into it.
Meanwhile, consider that the render is always showing the correct position of the lens-flare, while the preview is not always doing it.
