Hello!

Soon after starting a light render the entire computer and the program crashes, and soon after a message appears about "CUDA Error 2 on device 0: no memory" I don't know
What to do about this situation, my configuration is RTX 3050 8gb, 16GB RAM, I5 7400, in theory it shouldn't crash or anything like that happen! help me please!

Hi,
it seems that geometry is too big for your GPU, you should need to have more VRAM, at the moment.

To keep the polygons count low, it is very important to enable in c4d the Render Instance, or Multi Instance (R20/R21) option for all the objects that support it, like MoGraph Cloners, Instance Objects, or Particle Emitter.

To keep the polygons count low, another trick is to disable all the Subdivision Surface objects in the scene, and apply to them an Octane Object tag, with the same subdivision settings in the proper tab.

In this way, the subdivision will be applied only at render time, the scene will be much easy to export and handle, and the polygon count will be the same between Live View and Picture Viewer.
