R19 Octane Dropdown Toolbar Problem

When I install my plugins (I tried all sorts of versions 2019/2020/2021) and none worked. Yes, I have already deleted the non-R19 .dlls and I have tried combinations of installing it in preferences folder plugins and base folder plugin locations.

When I start up C4D R19, the dropdown toolbar is greyed out and when pressed nothing drops down. I cannot access anything, it just shows a couple of small dot pixels but no Octane render options. Very frustrating.

I dont want to abandon this software as Ive already purchased a perpetual license some years back and returning on a new computer.

the issue you described could be caused by WinRAR.

Please use 7zip to uncompress the c4doctane .RAR archive, it is free:
