Hi there,
is it possible to change the colors of an shader / gradient depent of the hight of an displacement map?

If I understand what you are trying to do, you can run the displacement map through a Octane Gradient node and then into the Diffuse channel to colorize the object based on the luma/displacement amount.Lubo wrote:Hi there,

Hi, no that is not what I need. I drive the displacement with the C4D Displacer, cause I have some Dynamics Animations on the moving surface.
I need a connection between these two things. Between the Octane Shader and the C4D Displacer if it´s possible.

Hi,
you could use a Falloff texture in "Normal vs vector 90°" mode: Then use an Octane Gradient Map for coloring based on the height: ciao,
