Hi - I have a cached dynamics animation in Cinema 4D 2024 which I have rendered using The standard C4d renderer for approval. All looks fine. Now I am rendering the finished thing in Octane (latest version) and the objects are distorting badly. Any idea why this would be? It does seem to be the fastest moving objects that are affected. The image below shows the standard render on the left and Octane on the right. Both the same frame. I can upload the file privately if necessary.

Update: I was trying to render these with motion blur but ultimately decided against it. I just checked and their object tags still had motion blur switched on so I set it to none and it appears to be rendering without distortion now. At least on the one frame I test rendered. Running the whole shot again now. Would be curious to know why this caused such distortion.

Are you referring to the flattening of the tiles? I would recommend you do a File > Save Project with Assets... archive the result and include that when you file a support ticket at [email protected]
