No Thin wall checkbox on sub materials

I am converting an older project with many SKUs each with a unique material.
The old versions were mixed materials but I am trying to convert to composite material as it is much easier to copy/paste a material and adjust sub materials than a mixed material.

However, the sub material does not have the THIN FILM check box in the common tab.

In order to match the old project I need this. Is this just not possible?

Like for Universal Material, you can find the Thin Wall option in the Transmission type menu, in the Transmission Channel of the Sub Material:

thanks for this the effect is different unfortunately so will have to keep the materials built the old way on this project.
