Being as he has already said he sculpted the foam, I imagine the beans are as well. Really awesome work. Well here's another shot to throw at this. Only post work was hotpixel eliminator to get rid of a few nasties. All model work was done by me in blender. Comments welcome.

that should'nt happen, at least it does'nt here...

Just once at this case, I remember...
For me, it crashes (random cases) when I change the power of specular,
import some meshes, and even changing the resolution.
There isn't a crash action... - It's random. Sometimes, the think that you
usually do, crashes...
I'm using Windows XP 64 SP2 with Opteron CPUs.
Tell me, does the Windows error helps you?

Hi all,

Yeah, some people are pre-baking displacement onto meshes where possible to get around use of bump mapping...
I used the same on the iguana rendering to get a displaced result.

havensole -> Nice work, like the stone texture ;)

The competition is turning out great,
it's definately going to be hard work for the jury members to pick the winning submissions...

keep on posting.
I was just thinking about a special 'suprise' if we get over 100 submissions posted.

just counted the number of submissions and we've got 113 so far :)
this will enable me to offer a bonus / suprise.

if we get it up to 150, i'll add another bonus/suprise.

btw, i will be extending the competition end date until tuesday 9 februari,
due to the delays with a stable linux release, which will be released tomorrow.
that will give linux users some additional time to prepare submissions.
