Hello,

I have never had this issue before, but after rendering out my AO AOV Pass, when I open it in AE it's all black. I have seen people run into this before and I made sure to turn off the C4D save options in the render settings. I'm only using the Octane output module. I have also made sure to set the AO distance and still nothing. I did just upgrade to S25 from S24 but I was having the same issue in the old version. I searched the forums here and I was not able to find anything pertaining to my issue. Has anyone else ran into this before? Is it something that could be an issue in AE because I can see the AO information in the picture viewer.

Hi,
did you put the EXtractoR effect on the layer with your AO render? Try it and don't forget to select the "y" layer in the "channel info" in EXtractoR. Then you should see the AO render in After Effects.
