OTOY® is proud to announce the availability of the new DCC plugin OctaneRender Hydra | Omniverse plugin v2021.1.4-050622 for NVIDIA Omniverse v2022.1.1.
The world's fastest unbiased GPU rendering engine on CUDA now integrates completely with Omniverse.

What is Octane Hydra | Omniverse?
The Octane Hydra | Omniverse plugin is based on Pixar’s USD (Universal Scene Description) and Pixar’s Hydra API to empower artist workflows across look development, scene layout, lighting, and final rendering.

!!! THIS IS THE BETA VERSION OF OctaneRender PLUGIN, IT IS RELEASED FOR INITIAL PREVIEW AND BUG HUNTING ONLY !!!

- Change log -
  • -Compiled with 2021.1.5 engine
    -Supports the latest Create v2022.2.0
-Known Issues-
- The build sometime may not work if there is Python preinstalled!
- Omniverse app specifically recommends using Nvidia driver 471.41.


These builds are compatible with both Omniverse Create and Code!!

I have some funimental material and rendering questions. Basic Nvidia assets don't work with materials? Is this correct or am I doing something wrong?

Hi EvolverInteractive,

Unfortunately, the Nvidia assets materials support is not added yet! We plane to add once we have the MaterialX support in our engine!
