"(stream merged" and "(stream 1)" renders giving weird color

Windows 10, Octane 4.05-R7, C4D R20. See images. The properly colored one (blue sky/clouds) is from the LiveViewer. The weird one (purple tint) is how it renders in the picture viewer. The progress bar in the Picture Viewer shows the frame being processed twice: 1st with the note "stream merged" and the second time saying "Stream 1". The frame looks perfect until the last second, when it is saving the final frame. It suddenly turns purple. What could this be?

I've just had this issue too, copied everything into a new scene to get around the problem.
