Will the plugin work for C4D 2023.1.2

Hi I'm new to cinema 4d. I tried to install the plug-in using the methods in this link.

Also, I use the installation method that otoy documents suggest here.

ut octane plug-in will not show up in this version of Cinema 4d 2023.1.2.
I was wondering does it work for this version. Or do I have to get an older one?

Hi,
you need to upgrade C4D to R2023.2.1, please go to your MyMaxon/Downloads page and download the update.

Alternatively, you need to install an older version of c4doctane plugin, like 2022.1-R10:

I have the same problems, but I'm trying to install demo version before deciding to upgrade my old licence to new version.
There are a demo version that work with c4d 2023.1.2? In the folder of the demo plugin there isn't "c4dOctane-R2022-demo.xdl64" but only 2023 and R26 that not work.

You have to use C4D 2023.2.0 or newer. And c4dOctane-R2023-demo.xdl64 is what you need, there is not anything like c4dOctane-R2022-demo.xdl64.
