Do you have any plans to release the Cinema4d version?

I've created a very simple scene showing what Analytic lights are helping with.
You can clearly see the benefits on direct diffuse and Specular rays. Not to mention the noiseless, super fast volumetric lighting.
Just turn on/off Analytic spread slution for the light to see the difference.

Can we please get Instance Attributes. It's one of the major things missing in Octane.
Generally the way it works after a new Octane Render is released, the various plugin creators use that code to compile for their particular platform. It's not a push-button process, though, and lot of code may need to be modified to work in different programs. Ahmet (the C4D plugin developer) is usually pretty fast, but this being Alpha 1 of a major update, it could take a while. Once there is a stable Octane released, updates to the plugins usually follow within a few days.bullet0830bs wrote:Do you have any plans to release the Cinema4d version?
I can't speak for Ahmet, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not worth his time to jump through the hoops while Octane is still in Alpha. Maybe Beta or Release Candidates, but an awful lot can change between A 1 and official Stable release.

I don't suppose this is a question! But... It may take some time to integrate new features. And we haven't started to do it before SDK and Standalone released.frankmci wrote:Generally the way it works after a new Octane Render is released, the various plugin creators use that code to compile for their particular platform.
