It seems that the composite material isn't being correctly exported via usd since when loading it it in Standalone, the materials are missing. It works fine when loading it straight back in Solaris.

Thank you so much for reporting this.
We are able to replicate and hope to get this fixed in the next release!
cheers
Just to ask the question again. Would it be possible to use a custom render target in Solaris, if not, would it be possible to implement it?
Yep, we had this workflow for a while. It looks like still working.

I was wondering if the spotlight controls can be added to the standard octane houdini plugin or is it something that can only be done in Solaris.

Sorry, do you mean adding Solaris Spotlight parameters in Sop workspace?
We seem to support all the Octane lights including the Toon lights.

Cryptomattes aren't written out when using "Override Output Image" in the USD Render ROP (Other passes seem to work correctly, might need to test more to make sure I'm not missing something)
Cryptomattes work correctly when using the Octane > Output > Output Picture option in Render Settings

Hi,
When I try to render out animations from Solaris, it doesn't render. Render Current frame works fine - opens Mplay and renders. The Render sequence fro Octane LOP does nothing, and if I connect a USD render LOP it saves empty frames. May be I am doing something wrong?
Another question, do you plan to release a Linux version?

It seems the cryptomatte AOVs are created on the Octane side, however, all the AOVs are flattened with USD Render ROP.
Is it okay to use Octane's Output while we investigate the "Override output image"?
cheers
