Hi all,
I am hoping someone better versed in Deadline would be able to point me in the right direction.
Simply, I would like to export an Octane EXR using the C4D Deadline submitter, so that I can export cryptomattes.
The issue I am having right now is that Deadline renders out Multi-pass images from the native C4D save dialog. So there is no option there to export Octane EXRs, just standard EXRs.
To go one step further, I would love to know how to simply render out from my Octane Render AOV group settings, not the native C4D save tab, as I have less control over my outputs.
Thanks in advance!

If you use c4d as commandline in Deadline with the arguments "-nogui -render" you can have the same type outputs as in c4d a GUI. I cannot help much in how to set it up as i'm just a 3d artist that gets to see a bit of pipeline dev where i work

Thanks for your reply! I will look into this (I haven't used commandline before), was hoping there was a setting I missed inside of the submitter that simply needed to be changed!ShivaMist wrote:If you use c4d as commandline in Deadline with the arguments "-nogui -render" you can have the same type outputs as in c4d a GUI. I have reached out on the official Deadline forums as well for an answer here: https://forums.thinkboxsoftware.com/t/c ... line/30169
So anyone else who has the same question can follow along.
