Hi

How I can use octane render with a rtx4090 cards? Studio drivers 456.38 does not recognize this hardware and octane can't ride with the 528.02 (support for 4090)
Thank in advance

Octane 2021.1 is compatible with the latest drivers and GPUs, isn't it?

Thanks,

I dont think so: this card need a 5xx version of nvidia drivers. If i try to replace by the 456.38 the card are dosn't reconise.

Do you have an idea to fix it ?

But Octane 2021.1.7 should work with any drivers. Here I have 526.98. Doesn't it work in your system?

Thanks,

- 64Go
- 512Go SSD for systeme (with free place)
- 2To SSD for data (with free place)
- RTX4090
- Windows 10 Version 21H2
- Nvidia studio Drivers : 526.98 (tested with 528.02 without success)
- Lightwave 2020.0.2
- Octane version 2021.1.7

I have ride the Bench application : Score 1300

When I try to open the IPR, I have this message : "No GPUs available for rendering (Can't render the scene)"

And page of the "OctaneRender 2021.1.7 LightWave EOL Tribute build" you precise " And please make sure to use a NVIDIA Studio driver with version at least 456.38 on Windows..."

Do you know if Standalone 2021.1.7 works in your system? Sorry, I don't have any 4090 GPU here to check if this Octane version works on it. Perhaps it doesn't work and I'm wrong. I'm not sure right now.

Hmm, in this case, the LightWave 2021.1.7.0 plugin should also work. What do you get in the GPUs configuration panel?

In the plugin options panel, where you can configure the GPUs and so on.
