I'm having issues getting network render to work when render out an animation to picture viewer. Network render works fine when using the Octane Live viewer, even when scrubbing through animations. I have network rendering turned on in the render settings and octane render dialog and nodes are binded. After I notice that network render isn't working, if I check the dialog i'll see that network rendering has been disabled.

This is something I"ve noticed across various scenes, so it's not isolated. Any help is appreciated--working in latest of everything.

just a couple more notes--not sure if it's pertinent or not. my scene has x-particles, octane scatter and a few material keyframes.

its seeming to try to send data to my nodes but each frame finishes before the node kicks in. should it be sending all the data each frame like this? is there a workaround for this, if this is the cause?

Hi,
probably X Particles needs to send a lot of data per frame, but the network connection speed is not enough to send all the data during frame calculation.

Have you cached the X Particles sim?

For complex scenes, we suggest to have 10Gbit Ethernet connection, it makes a great difference, compared with 1Gbit Ethernet connection.

ciao,
Beppe
