Is there any way to get "Forest Material" within Octane to work? I'm waiting forever for a support now and use Forest Pack daily.

Hi mbetke,
I'm looking at Forest Material now.
Do you also use Forest Color and Forest Edge maps ?
If you have some very simple samples working with Scanline or Vray, that would be helpful.
Thanks

Of course, all features would be nice. ;)
The boundary checking is useful for a clean edge. I use the edge scaling on z-axis there as a workaround.

But mostly I miss the ability to tint a scene as a whole to make grass look more realistic or tint parking cars with individual colors. The random color texture in octane offers not the necessary control here. So being able to use ForestColor with a custom texture would be pleasant. Some time ago, a client asked me to do an autumn themed scene. I ended up adjusting all vegetation materials manually to a brownish-yellow material. With support of ForestColor it would have been done in a fraction of time.

A sample scene can be found there: https://www.itoosoft.com/tutorials/fore ... st%2Bcolor

Thanks for looking into it. :)
