Hello!

We've been having serious issue with LV lately. We were thinking "nah, that's isolated incident" but more and more of our scenes and various tests projects are starting to exhibit this behavior.

Anyone encountered this particular glitch? It looks the same on every machine and on different Octane versions.

TESTED ON:
Cinema 4D R23 + OctaneRender 2021.1.6-(R7)
Cinema 4D 2023 + OctaneRender 2022.1

It's not a GLITCH. JUST because of wrong COHERENT_RATIO parameter from the kernel. Somehow our converter is changing it to a wrong value. Send me your original scene by PM, WITHOUT changing/SAVING anything. It's changing this value.

Oh you're right! Damn I'm stupid, we've should've figured this one out.

I have strong suspicion it was our fault by copying settings and project files from a scene which mistakenly had Coherent ratio 1. Therefore I'm not sure if there was any underlying issue with the Octane Plugin in the first place.

You mean this frozen scene for example? It's been created two weeks ago and today I opened it and it started going crazy with the Coherent Ratio. What's funny is the scene actually had Coherent Ratio set to 0 in the Kernels when I last worked on it on 21st November 2022. Don't know where the value 1 came from. We didn't touch a thing since then.
