But after the first year with the Black friday deal at 15,99, we will need to pay 19,99 a month, the standard studio license will not exist anymore?

Also, now I own the standard studio license, my next renewal will be on may 2023, so if I upgrade today to the studio+ with the black friday deal, all the pre-payd months from here to may will be lost?

Hi Beppe, hey Otoy,
there is still an "extend maintenance for licenses" button on my account site. It is EUR 199 (instead of 187,92 for a Studio+). Would it do the same, order a new BF Sub?
Because else I would have to wait some 1 or 2 weeks to extend the existing sub wich drops on 07.12. And if ordered earlier, I wouldn't know if these are 2 subs then instead of one extended.So how do I extend my existing sub(s)?

However, there's something I haven't found any info about.

1) Is the price (15.99) going to change, once the first year is over?
2) The license I'm currently using will renew in August 2023. If I upgrade today to Studio+, all the months that are already paid for, from today to August, will be lost?
3) In case, I decide not to upgrade to Studio+. Will my "standard" all-access license continue to work?`

While I highly appreciate the amazing bundle, the licensing is still kinda obscure - at least to me.

What must I do ?
- buy the blackfriday offer which will extend the existing subs
- let the renewal operate but I wll benefit of Kitbash, Greyscalegorilla,... offer ?

the licenses offer and Shop page were needing a simplification!

So now there is only one type of Studio+ license, with all the features of the more expensive license (Enterprise+), but with the price of the cheapest previous license (Studio) and without any limitation

Please note that the extra software is already available in the new Downloads/Applications section:

Now we have Cascadeur, EmberGenFX, Architron, Mol 3D, World Creator Octane edition, Sculptron, and UX3D gITF Scene Toolkit!

Only GSG, KitBush and World Creator Standalone BF offers are only available during Black Friday, but it was exactly the same the past year.

Standalone 2021.1 stable is already available only as Studio+ license version, plugins will follow shortly:

And if you have already a Studio or Enterprise license, you can already use new Studio+ versions without issues!

If your Annual subscription is going to expire in these days, to avoid issues, my suggestion is to cancel it, and then purchase the new BF Studio+ offer.

I need an urgent response to this as I don't think I've done this right. I just cancelled my monthly to take advantage of the black friday discount, but when I selected the discount, it gave me the choice to pay yearly or monthly. It seems GSG is only available if you pay yearly? (If so, the option that flashes up AFTER you click the button to choose how you pay shouldn't be there as it's misleading). If so, how do I go about refunding my monthly payment that I just made for the new Octane+ and purchase a year?

I need to do this today otherwise I'll miss the deal!

The Black Friday Studio+ special price is only for Annual subscription.

About GSG, only Annual licenses purchased during the 2022 Black Friday sale will receive one year of Greyscalegorilla Plus. Please note that this coupon is only redeemable by new Greyscalegorilla Plus customers and returning OTOY Black Friday 2021 customers, who renew using the code before their auto renewal date. The coupon cannot be redeemed to renew any other current Greyscalegorilla Plus account.

It was the same also with past Black Friday 2021 offer, if you purchase an Annual subscription in a differnt period of the year, you cannot have the GSG offer.
