How do I set my materials to Realworld Scaling in Cinema 4D?

Basically if I apply a material with a wood texture to a box object that represents a table , then if I change the size of the table the material will stay fixed to the object so it gets shrunk or larger with the table scaling. I want to set Realworld \Scaling so when the object gets larger it adds more wood texture, so the texture actually stays the same size.

Change your mapping to box or something.

Set texture projection to other than UV, box for example.

For the most control, use polygonal geometry with good UVs, and use them directly for texture placement and scale. They are part of the object itself and are scale independent. C4D's UV tools can be a little clunky, but it's well worth familiarizing yourself with them.
