Hello!

I just downloaded the demo but it keeps crashing when I start up.
This is my system setup:

Mac
Intel Core 2 Duo
3.06 Ghz
4GB Ram
NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS

any suggestions?

Hi,

It can be many things, but we can't help you without more information,
a description of the crash would be handy, aswell as driver versions, OS version,
and if you're using the test suite scenes to check if you are not using too large or incorrectly exported OBJ scenes...

this means that the cuda toolkit is not installed...
You should follow the installation video on the downloads page, just click on the large question mark on the downloads page to go to it and select Mac OS X, it will show you the complete procedure to install everything.

Ah thanks!

I downloaded and tried installing - I got an error, see the attached screen shot... Any suggestions?

Hi,

I'm sorry but i don't have a clue, i've never seen the nvidia cuda toolkit not install.
Does it ask for the admin password, and have you installed it before ?

Check the installer log. Try to download dmg file again or check with diskutily.
