Hello everybody,
I have downloaded Octane Prime free Tier version of blender, based on Blender 3.2 and opened scene made In my older Octane v4 (Blender 2.7) and materials nodes look weird, Octane v4 nodes are not compatible with new Octane Prime free tier nodes ?

Free or not:
In my opinion, the criteria for "stable" is excluding forward compatibility for earlier files .
The remedy, is re-socketing texture maps with new, updated 3x nodes.
Not a big deal if you are dealing with only a few texture maps.
But personally, this is a serious set back, and could leave me stuck in 2X.
In another post, I was informed that the developers would look at this.
Very hopeful on that.

Thanks Protovu for Your comment,
Yeah huge set back, EVERY shader needs to be updated manually with new node one by one. If You have some library of models/shaders it can be months of work.

Could You give me a link to that post? I was searching forum and didn’t found it.
Thanks

So much has changed since Octane 4.
The issue we have now is about more recent versions, and that's what we need to fix.
