One problem that has bugged me for years, is that octane's live view always misses the final update of any change the user makes. eg I am moving a texture on a surface with flat mapping, as I move the texture it is moving across the surface at say 10mm of distance per mouse pointer update or live view update. If I release the mouse with the texture perfectly in place, it will be correct in the c4d opengl view, but 10mm off in the live view. The only way to fix this is to resend the scene to the gpu. this has been a problem since octane V3 when I started upto current 2021 releases, affects all machines Ive used.
Video attached to explain
Octane misses the final update

I don't give much possibility for happening on this. At least on me and my friends that's not happening. Also checking routines are capable the most of changes on every clicks. Even second click if it's not captured on previous click. My advice to reset your settings first. Then give the your scene for this example.

Hi boxfx,
I have tried to reproduce the issue, but it doesn't happen here
What type of image file are you using exactly?
If you are increasing the texture preview size of the material, please try to set it back to default.
Have you tried to use the Viewport Rendering option for doing this?
ciao,
Beppe

Really, this is absolutely any scene file. The more complex and slower the project is, the more noticeable it is. The quicker you click, the more obvious it is. Realistically I could open any project on my system and get this problem to show up.
I just grabbed a video I finished earlier, heres a screencap of me working attached.
I'll send a scene file to Aoktar, unfortunately I can't spread this one widely due to confidential data.
