Hello. I have a problem between the "Manual Time" of my cache and the Octane tag on my xpEmitter. I did a retime of my particle cache to make it slower. But the problem is that the rotation information doesn't seem to be good anymore. They change randomly. I solved the problem by caching an xpGenerator. But the rendering times are much longer because of the generation of meshes! Is there a way to make the rotation good with the octane tag? Thank you very much
PSR should be fine whatever you set if XP provides correct. Have you tested without retiming this scene or any another test scene? Caching should be done for consistency.

Without retiming it works fine. I tried on a new simple scene. it seems to work. On my bu scene I use advection. Can it come from there?

I just tried a new scene with advection ... No worries !! It's weird. I will proceed by elimination on my scene

Well finally I have the same problem on all the scenes. Looks like it's the rotation interpolation that isn't working. As if in the interpolation the particles were 2X180 ° instead of changing a few degrees. But what is weird is that it works well on the first frames (around 180 frames) after that it doesn't work anymore ... I'm stuck
Please post a sample scene, I'll debug it! Btw there will not be a quick solution, just for future if there's something about me. Other than this nothing todo if it's about XP.

Yes I made a post on the insydium forum. I'm supposed to turn in my project quickly and I'm really deadlocked! I think I'll have to stay on the xpGenerator cache but it's a bit heavy! I think I have attached the .C4D. Let me know if you find a solution. thank you so much

Same problem here, also with particle advection and retiming.
I can't use generators as the scene will become too heavy.
Any solution?
Thanks

Any luck with this? I have the same issue... I was kind of thinking it is more of an XParticles issue...
would love any input if you figured this out!
